CELLEUROPE – developing a future of entrepreneurial researchers
Celleurope is a Marie Cur…ie Initial Training Network under the 7th Framework Program “PEOPLE”, funded by the European Commission.
Celleurope is a Marie Curie Initial Training Network under the 7th Framework Program “PEOPLE”, funded by the European Commission.
Twelve researchers, nine of whom are Early Stage Researchers in the first four years of their research career, will be trained with the knowledge to understand the immunobiology of HSCT and develop skills to assess and identify biomarkers and novel targets for therapy for graft versus leukaemia (GvL) and graft versus host disease (GvHD).
Researcher training will be implemented by a competitively selected network of organisations from different countries engaged in research training and will involve a balance between scientific and technological training through personalised research projects and transferable skills modules, appropriate to the needs of each recruited researcher. Involvement of the private sector aims to enhance the intersectoral employability of the researchers and training in current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for both clinical and non-clinical scientists.
By bringing complementary skills in research training from different countries, sectors and disciplines together, this project will enhance industry-academia cooperation in terms of knowledge transfer and deliver a better overall quality of initial research and doctoral training in Europe.
